Founded by three friends with a joint passion for storytelling and adventure, we came together with a shared calling: to explore the remote corners of the Earth and tell stories that matter. Our films celebrate the resilience of wildlife, the communities protecting our ecosystems, the tenacity of the adventurous spirit, and the natural world in all its wild glory. With multiple industry nominations, world-first recordings, and global experience, Scrubjay Films reaches far beyond with our Fast & Light approach.
Like the Scrubjay - small, tenacious and bold, we navigate the world lightly, filming with minimal gear and minimal footprint. Our kit is carefully selected and engineered for quality and agility, allowing us to move efficiently, reduce our environmental impact, and access places others simply can’t. That means fewer bags, fewer fuss, more impact! With each expedition, we aim to share solutions, uplift local voices, and remind the world that even the smallest effort can echo far beyond.
